Munnar Cardamom Chai


  • Black tea leaves-1 tb spoon
  • Water -2 ¼ cups
  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Green cardamom (chhoti elaichi)-1-2 crushed
  • Sugar – as per taste


1) Boil water with crushed cardamom.
2) Add tea leaves and bring to brisk boil.
3) Switch off the flame. Allow the tea to steep.
You may also boil milk and add tea leaves if you want.
4) Strain into a vessel and add hot milk and sugar.

Munnar Cardamom Chai is ready to be enjoyed, hot & aromatic!!
